ANOTHER of omg -30- little dolls that I’m putting together for an art show next week. I have a few done, a GREAT many ALMOST done ;p I will be uploading them as I get good pictures of them.
Faces are all cast in resin and hand painted. Details like claws, hooves, horns, and so forth are sculpted in sculpey. Bodies are hand sewn and have button jointed limbs for gentle posing.
I will make a post about the art show information when I can - its in Seattle, WA and opens next friday (I will be at the opening!) with a bunch of other artists who did 30 small artworks in a month! This show is ALWAYS a cool one, but I am particularly proud of myself this time around.
Because I know this will probably come up - the dolls will be for sale AT the art show itself first. The show will last for a month, and then whatever dolls have not sold will be posted on ETSY for sale. :3
Also I plan on taking a couple photos of these guys to show their general size. They aren’t TINY but they can sit in your hand :3
This one - little bird faced monster - has a silver skull, which doesn’t translate as well in photos as it does in person. He is SO SO SO shaggy but I thought he looked great that way so didn’t shave him a bit. He likes his wild, unkempt goth look!
